Surgery hours
Unlike other veterinary surgeries, our practice runs an ‘open’ surgery. You do not need to make an appointment, just come and book in during surgery hours and you will be seen. This gives you easy access to our veterinary care and the flexibility to attend whether for a routine visit or if your pet is taken ill
- Monday to Friday 10.30am – 11.30 am, 5.30pm – 6.30pm
- Saturdays: 9.00 to 10.45am
COVID 19 – Due to the current pandemic we are temporarily only opening Monday to Friday 10.30 – 11.30 am and 5.30-6.30pm, Saturday 9 – 10.45 am.
Payment
Payment for all our services is on the basis of payment at the time in full for all consultations, operations and other procedures or products. We accept cash, cheques and all major credit and debit cards.
We recommend taking out health insurance for your pet to remove the worry of affording possibly expensive treatment.

COVID 19 – Due to the current pandemic we are temporarily running appointment only service, please ring before you attend the surgery as the hours may be different from normal. Repeat medications can now be pre-ordered and collected from Handsworth with a prearranged pick up time.
Pet transport from our Handsworth surgery to our main site at Dinnington is unavailable during the COVID- 19 Pandemic.
